On May 26th, Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, and Zhang Jianming, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, went to Songjiang District for research. The team visited the planning exhibition hall of G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta, investigated companies like Ever grande New Energy Vehicles and Shanghai Super Silicon Semiconductor, discussed with leaders of Songjiang District Committee and District Government, and responded to their questions and suggestions. Cheng Xiangmin, Secretary of Songjiang District Committee, Xiao Wengao, Deputy Secretary of Songjiang District Committee, and Chen Xiaojun, Deputy Governor of Songjiang District, were present.
Mr. Lu thanked Songjiang District for its contribution to the industrial economic development, the implementation of major projects and the production of epidemic prevention materials. He pointed out that under the current situation, the industrial investment and other core economic indicators of Songjiang District are growing against the trend, and the construction of G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor has achieved remarkable results. It is hoped that Songjiang District will take G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor as the platform, further consolidate the element resource foundation of the Yangtze River Delta integrated industrial linkage, fully tap new economic growth points, enhance new development potential, create new industrial highlights, and actively occupy the commanding heights of industrial development. On the other side, it is important for Songjiang District to rely on the construction of G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, go out of a new path of innovation driven development, firmly grasp the opportunity of "science and technology innovation", find the combination point of innovation and industry, promote regional economic and social development with major projects, and contribute to the construction of science and technology innovation center with global influence. What's more, it is also necessary to take a long-term view, focus on the industry chain to consolidate, supplement and strengthen it, integrate the urban resources along the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, lay out the supply chain of key industries, and build a good ecology of the upstream and downstream industries. Relevant divisions of the Commission will strengthen cooperation with Songjiang District, do a good job in service docking, and support the development of G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor.
Chen Xiangmin introduced the industrial development of Songjiang District in the forum, and pointed out that Songjiang District will always adhere to the new development concept, reform, innovate and seek truth, be realistic and work hard. First, it is important to strengthen the "three hedges", seize the "four windows", give full play to the advantages of the whole industry chain of G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Yangtze River Delta, and strive to win both epidemic control as well as economic and social development. Second, it is necessary to focus on high-quality development of advanced manufacturing industry driven by science and innovation, focus on "6 + X" strategic emerging industries like artificial intelligence, integrated circuit and biomedicine, promote technological research and development innovation, and form a competitive industrial innovation ecosystem. Third, it is advisable to tap new energy and new increment of "science and technology + industry" and actively promote the construction of new digital infrastructure and online new economy. And fourth, it is a must to promote the close integration of advanced manufacturing industry and multi-level capital market, and actively contribute to the construction of global science and technology innovation center for Shanghai.
