On May 19th, Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, and Liu Yan, Secretary of Municipal Science and Technology Work Party Committee, visited Rendu Biotechnology. The team learned about the research and production of COVID-19 automatic testing products, watched the operation demonstration of automatic testing platforms, inspected the production site, listened to the introduction of the company, and responded to the questions and suggestions.
During the discussion with the leaders of the company, Lu Xiaochun and Liu Yan fully affirmed its contribution to COVID-19 prevention and control and pointed out that the situations of the pandemic and world economy are still severe and complex. At present, we are still at the critical stage of guarding against imported cases and preventing a resurgence of the outbreak at home. It is hoped that the company will actively seek opportunities in the construction of Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center, in the normalization of COVID-19 prevention and control, and in improving the capacity of Shanghai’s public health system. It is also important for the company to increase R&D and production efforts, improve core competency, strive to expand production and capacity, ensure product quality and safety, and continue to make greater contributions to the health and safety of the people.
