On May 12th, according to the promotion arrangement of the development of key industries, the Economic Committee of Shanghai CPPCC and Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization jointly held a workshop of new material enterprises in Shanghai. Dong Yunhu, Chairman of the CPPCC Municipal Committee, attended the meeting and made a speech. Bei Xiaoxi, Secretary General of CPPCC Municipal Committee, and Zhu Chenggang, Deputy Secretary General, were present. Dong Yunhu pointed out that the new material industry in Shanghai is growing rapidly, with many enterprises and good economic benefits, which has become a pillar of strategic emerging industries. Under the leadership of the CPC Municipal Committee, there are many outstanding achievements in the breakthrough of industrial policies and the implementation of innovation projects, and also made important contributions to the prevention and control of COVID-19 as well as economic and social stability. It is important to focus on long-term and forward-looking plans, do a good job in the preparation of the 14th five year plan for the development of new materials, further clarify the development orientation, target vision and focus of Shanghai new materials industry, grasp the strategic basis of basic innovation, accelerate the layout of key areas, create a development highland, cultivate leading enterprises, and better represent the country in global competition. The government departments should do a good job of "assistant", focus on the difficulties of industrial development, provide more targeted support measures and personalized help services, and strive to break the bottleneck from the aspects of policy, talent and enterprise development, continuously optimize the business environment, so that the enterprise will focus on development without hesitation.
Mr. Lu Ming responded to the demands of new material enterprises. He pointed out that in order to reduce the adverse impact of COVID-19 on the industry, this year, the city has successively issued 28 preferential policies for enterprises, 20 economic stability measures, and action plans for promoting consumption, new infrastructure and online new economy. Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization is also planning and launching relevant policies for promoting industrial investment, promoting the optimization of land, capital and talents, enhancing the sense of enterprise acquisition, and effectively ensuring the stable recovery of the economy. New material companies in Shanghai will adhere to the principle of stable production and chain building, strong foundation and solid foundation and quality improvement. The company will deepen the five "further", focus on six major initiatives of large planning, large projects, large industries, large funds, large policies and large ecology, implement the "ten-hundred-thousand" project of new materials, accelerate the high-quality development of the industry, and move towards the high-end of the industry chain and value chain.
At the meeting, the heads of seven new material enterprises from the fields of COVID-19 prevention material support, 5G communication, high-end medical equipment and new energy made speeches. In combination with the changes of domestic and international situation brought by the COVID-19, based on the industry and its own development, the representatives of various enterprises exchanged views on the improvement of independent innovation capacity of new materials, in-depth docking of industrial chain, release of downstream demand, implementation of project results, reduction of cost and burden of enterprises, and put forward suggestions. Members of the CPPCC Municipal Committee as well as representatives of government departments and enterprises made full communication and discussion.
