The first China (Shanghai) Industrial Products Online Trade Festival in 2020 was open

      As an important measure for Shanghai to fully promote the development of online new economy, the first China (Shanghai) Industrial Products Online Trade Festival in 2020 opened on the afternoon of April 28th. Wu Qing, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Shanghai, was present and announced the opening of the fair. Chen Mingbo, Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai Municipal Government, presided over the opening ceremony. Liu Ping, Chief Engineer of Municipal Economic Information Commission, was present. More than 10 branch venues of the opening ceremony were held in Wuhan, Kunming, Yangtze River Delta, as well as relevant parks and industry associations in Shanghai, which were broadcast live and interactive in real time. Guo Tao, Deputy Director General of the Department of Economy and Informatization Technology of Hubei Province, and Bao Jianbin, Deputy Director General of the Department of Industry and Informatization of Yunnan Province, participated in branch activities.

 

      At the ceremony, Shanghai Electric, Jungheinrich and CHINT Electric signed purchase agreements with cooperative enterprises. Representatives of financial institutions(BOC Shanghai Branch, ABC Shanghai Branch, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, and CITIC Shanghai Branch ), E-commerce platform(Jingdong industrial products, YZSCG, ZKH, EHSY, IMROBOTIC, and BWCMALL ) and high quality service providers(SF-Express, HUAWEI Cloud, TÜV Rheinland and Douyin ) also signed contracts with the festival.

 

      Liu Ping pointed out that it is important to grasp the window of online new economic development and make the trade festival a bright spot of global industrial online trade. The trade festival is an important action to promote online new economy, innovate and develop online exhibition and display, and release the consumption potential of manufacturing industry. It is necessary to follow the new trend of "Internet plus" and continue to promote the development and transformation of industrial e-commerce. The trade festival is not only the epitome of industrial internet innovation and development, but also an important way to link e-commerce platforms and break the information island. It is important to build more industrial e-commerce enterprises into industry leaders, lay a solid foundation for the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry, and build up energy for the integration of the two industries. It is also necessary to break the bottleneck of supply chain reconstruction and create a digital industrial chain ecosystem after the epidemic. As an important attempt to reconstruct the industrial chain, the trade festival extensively attracts the participation of enterprises from all over the country and tries to solve the bottleneck of industrial chain breaking from the supply side, the demand side and the technology side.       At the opening ceremony, Dai Peihua, President of Shanghai E-commerce Industry Association and Chairman of 365me, introduced relevant information of the trade festival. Huang Ou, President of Shanghai Electric Group, on behalf of the manufacturing enterprises participating in the trade festival, read out "the proposal for promoting the high-quality development of online new economy". Lu Wei, Vice President of Shanghai Branch of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, on behalf of financial institutions, read out "the proposal of financial services for online new economy".

      At the opening ceremony, a comprehensive online live broadcast activity of industrial brands was also launched, which was the first in China. Experts from the industry were invited to share the "digital trend of B2B industry after the epidemic". The online live broadcast was conducted by famous brands at home and abroad, such as IMROBOTIC, Shanghai Baoom Industrial Automation Company, Kuyodo, Saint Gobain of France, Henkel, Jungheinrich and Shanghai Soap Company.
