On February 25th, Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, visited the State Grid to check power consumption situation after resumption of production. The team listened to the introduction of power utilization and supply assurance during the epidemic. Li Guisheng, Deputy Chief Engineer, Director of East China branch and Secretary of the Party committee of the State Grid Corporation, was present and made a presentation.
Mr. Lu pointed out that State Grid Corporation has played an important role in key moments and major tasks in Shanghai, like epidemic prevention and control, business environment optimization, and guarantee of China International Import Expo. It is hoped that the SOE companies in Shanghai including East China branch of State Grid will better play the role of an "SOE and main force", meet the higher level requirements, strengthen the research and judgment of power consumption, continuously improve precise power supply, and ensure the power utilization of key regions, key enterprises as well as major projects; On the other side, it is necessary to give full play to the advantages of regional power grid and provide overall services for the integration of Yangtze River Delta; What's more, it is quite important to implement the main responsibility of the enterprise, continue to scientifically and accurately keep the safety guarantee work of epidemic prevention and control, and promote the resumption of work and production in an orderly and safe manner on the basis of strict prevention. Last but not least, it is a must to strengthen the guidance of Party construction, give full play to the role of Party organizations at all levels, and care for front-line employees.
