On the morning of January 16th, Wu Jincheng, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, met with Reagan Mathews, Vice President of INVISTA, and his team. Lu Ming, Vice Chairman of the Commission, was also present.
Mr. Wu expressed that Shanghai attaches great importance to INVISTA’s adiponitrile project. The Commission will work together with relevant departments, continue to do a good job in project coordination and service with the highest standard, accelerate the construction, put into production as soon as possible, and create "INVISTA speed". He said that Shanghai has good infrastructure and complete industrial structure, which provides a good development environment for high-end industries like fine chemicals. NVIDIA is welcomed to introduce more advanced technologies and international resources into Shanghai. The city will support the innovation and development of enterprises with better business environment and project services.
Mr. Matthews expressed his gratitude to the Commission for its strong support for the project. He said that the project is the largest overseas project of INVISTA at present. The implementation of the project will complement the nylon 66 industrial chain of the enterprise in Shanghai, which is of great significance to INVISTA and industrial development. He also introduced the latest progress of the project and the next work plan.
