On the morning of December 9th, China Baowu Steel Group signed a strategic partnership framework agreement with Shanghai Huayi Group. The agreement will jointly support the development and expansion of "Made in Shanghai" and "Made in China", strengthen the integration of central and local development, and jointly create a new situation of high-quality development. The two parties reached an agreement on in-depth cooperation in the fields of auto parts, energy and chemical industries, smart supply chain, as well as education and training. The preliminary project list and joint promotion mechanism of counterpart departments were also determined.
Hu Wangming, General Manager of Baowu Steel, and Wang Xia, Chairman of Shanghai Huayi Group, signed the partnership framework agreement on behalf of each party. Relevant leaders witnessed the signing, including Chen Derong, Secretary of Party committee and Chairman of Baowu, Zhang Jingang, Vice General Manager, Li Qingyu, Assistant to General Manager, Wu Jincheng, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Liu Xunfeng, Secretary of Party committee and Chairman of Huayi Group, and Gu Lili, Vice Chairman.
Comrades from relevant enterprises and divisions were present, including New Material Industry Center of Baowu Steel Group, Ouyeel, Baosteel Co., Ltd., Baosteel Metal Co., Ltd., Division of New Materials and General Office of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, as well as Operation Center and Office of Shanghai Huayi Group.
