On November 19th (GMT+1), at the Global Smart City Conference 2019 held in Barcelona, Spain, Shanghai’s big data application innovation project, "Big Data and Refined Urban Management (Jing'an)" (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Jing'an Project 151") won the Refined Urban Governance Award "of the Global Smart City Conference in China.
Shanghai Jing'an Project 151 is led by Shanghai Lianshu Internet of Things Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Data Exchange Center. The award represents the international recognition of the construction level of new smart city in China. Ugo Valenti, CEO of the Global Smart City Conference, said that the smart city construction in Shanghai is taking a lead. Shanghai is a global benchmark of smart cities. As a demonstration benchmark of smart cities, Jing'an District in Shanghai has led the construction of many smart cities in the world.
Jing'an District is the epitome of Shanghai's smart city construction, which is more efficient, refined and intelligent. Jing'an Project 151 was approved as "2018 Major Digital Economy Pilot Project of National Development and Reform Commission" in December 2017. The project is committed to creating a new urban management mode of "IOT perception of the city, data-driven services and intelligent leading decision-making".
The project has built an integrated urban management "Data Lake" network through data collection and sharing, and formed big data innovative applications in Transportation", Healthcare, Food Safety, Environmental Protection and Urban Public Facilities. At the same time, an urban intelligent operation and management center with comprehensive operation of city data was built, and finally Project 151’s big data and city management construction mode was formed to solve the "people's livelihood hot spots, government and management difficulties" in Shanghai's urban management.
At present, the project has completed the construction of urban IOT special network, equipment management platform, network management platform, data management platform, project management platform and urban integrated intelligent operation management platform. It has the perception ability and analysis command ability for the dynamic operation of Jing'an and will deliver a perfect "neuron" system that can "perceive the city" to realize the full sensing and accurate state monitoring of the urban operation.
At present, 11 smart community demonstrations and 4 smart village demonstrations have been established in Shanghai, which are distributed in 13 districts, including Pudong New Area, Huangpu District, Jing'an District, Xuhui District and Changning District.
At the Global Smart City Conference 2019 in Barcelona, Shanghai Lianshu and Shanghai Data Exchange Center took part in the exhibition with the latest technological achievements in the field of smart city in Shanghai to show the global audience the most cutting-edge technology of big data, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things in China.
