On November 11th, the orientation workshop for new civil servants of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization in 2019 was open. 35 participants from all divisions attended the opening ceremony, and Ruan Li, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, was present and delivered a speech.
Mr. Ruan pointed out that the orientation is an important measure to improve the administrative efficiency and the overall construction level of the administrative organs. It is necessary to fully understand the importance of training. With the favorable opportunity of systematic orientation, it is wise to pay attention to learning and practice, promote new employees to gradually adapt to the environment and realize role transformation, and constantly strengthen the ability and quality of cadres and management level.
Mr. Ruan also pointed out that the image of the staff represents the image of the party and the government, and the quality and ability of civil servants determine the transformation level of the party's policies into the results of action. It is important to strictly abide by the disciplines, take the initiative to learn, and ensure the implementation of the training process and quality. It is advisable to keep a modest, diligent and knowledge-seeking attitude, communicate actively, think hard, discuss deeply, strengthen the integration of theoretical learning and work practice, and transform the concept and cognition into the ability of service industry and information construction.
Mr. Ruan stressed that it is a must to take the people's yearning for a better life as a goal to struggle and take the satisfaction of the mass as the fundamental standard to measure the effectiveness of the system construction and cadres' duties. It is also advisable to follow the model of "civil servants who are satisfied by the people" and cultivate a good image of cadres with passion, creativity and courage to take on responsibilities. What's more, it is also necessary to analyze and think about the importance of training for post practice and personal growth, and explore more effective ways to serve the society, enterprises and the masses. After the opening ceremony, the workshop was quickly transferred to on-site teaching with the course of “OA System Operation”.
