On the morning of October 12th, Wu Jincheng, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informationization, led a team to Shanghai Pharma Group and investigatedits economic growth. Zuo Min, President of Shanghai Pharma Group, Zhao Yong, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee and Vice President, and Gu Haoliang, Vice President, participated in the research discussion.
Mr. Wu listened to the presentation on Shanghai Pharma Group's current developments, the next steps and the current steady growth, and affirmed the work of Shanghai Pharma Group in product planning, innovation platform and internationalization. He demanded that first of all,the group shallfocus on thegoal of this year, accelerate the production schedule, and contribute more to the steady growth of the whole city. Second, it shall do a good job in deployment and development planning, benchmark the leading international enterprises, actively develop high-end products, and enhance its competitiveness. And third, it shall increase the investment in research and development, focus on innovative drugs, high-end generic drugs and major varieties of Chinese medicine, speed up development, and also ensure safe production, drug protection and other related work.
