On the morning of October 11th, the 3rd “Golden Water Lake” Forum and Global Flexible AM-OLED Supply Chain Summit 2019 were held at Jinshan District. Fu Xinhua, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informationization, attended the event and delivered a speech. Hu Weiguo, Deputy Secretary of CPC Jinshan District Committee and District Governor, Zhang Quanquan, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Jinshan District Committee and Deputy District Governor, Ouyang Zhongcan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Fu Wenzhao, Chairman of Ever Display Optoelectronics, were present.
Mr. Fu Xinhua stated in his speech that the new display industry, with the strong support of the state, has continuously achieved leap-forward development, which has effectively supported the transformation and upgrading of Chinese manufacturing to high-end. At present, Shanghai is accelerating the construction of five centers and four major brands. Shanghai will regard the new display as one of the development priorities of the electronic information sector and continue to promote the industry to become bigger and stronger at Jinshan District. In recent years, the city and the district have jointly seized investments, increased support to the manufacturing industry, and landed a number of major industrial projects. The new model has formed a clustering effect at Jinshan, which has accumulated the momentum for the long-term stable growth of Shanghai’s industries and driven Shanghai's competitiveness in the high-end manufacturing sector. In the next step, theCommission will continue to act as a good “servant” to create a better development environment and provide better protection services.
