On October 26th, Wu Qing, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Shanghai, and Chen Mingbo, Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai Municipal Government, visited 5G + Intelligent Platform at three stations of Shanghai Metro, command center of power supply service for the Expo, and on-site communication support headquarters to guide the work. Heads from relevant units and enterprises were also present, including Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, Shanghai Communications Administration, Municipal Party committee Network Information Office, National Exhibition Centre, State Grid, Shanghai Shentong Metro Group Company, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Tower.
Mr. Wu and his team visited 5G+ Intelligent Platform at three stations of Shanghai Metro for the Expo, watched the demonstration of emergency traffic guarantee scheme and "three scenarios and nine applications" with 5G tech of Metro intelligent operation, service and maintenance. At the on-site command center of power supply service for the Expo, the team had a detailed understanding of the deployment and arrangement of power supply configuration, on-site power supply support command system and power emergency linkage of the National Exhibition Center; At the communication support site headquarters, the team listened to the promotion of communication support and the arrangement of key tasks in the next step of the Expo by the Municipal Communication Administration Bureau, and connected with the person in charge of the emergency support center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) through video. The team thanked MIIT for its support in the big network cooperation, international sea optical cable, emergency communication and other protection work.
At the same time, the team also listened to the practical needs of Shanghai Telecom, Shanghai Mobile and Shanghai Unicom in serving the exhibition, exhibitors, audiences and citizens, and visited 5G+ Emergency Medical Security Platform (5G+ 120 ambulance).
Mr. Wu affirmed the early work of the energy security group and the communication security group and put forward requirements for the next stage of work. He pointed out that the preparatory work for the second China International Import Expo has entered the final sprint stage, and all security groups are required to strictly implement the requirements of CPC Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government. It is important to focus on every link and detail accurately, think deeper, and follow the practical requirements and standards. From the perspective of the whole process, the work must be repeatedly reviewed, problems must be found, responsibilities must be clarified, seamless connection must be made, and solutions must be developed in a timely manner. At the same time, he also hoped that 5G will be able to further improve the work of the Expo.
