On the morning of October 23rd, the founding ceremony of "Pre-hospital Emergency Alliance in Yangtze River Delta" was held in Shanghai. China Mobile released the 5G Mobile Medical Emergency Support Platform for China International Import Expo (CIIE) on the ceremony. Under the guidance of Shanghai Municipal Health Commission and Shanghai Medical Emergency Center, China Mobile Shanghai Office, together with China Mobile Chengdu Industrial Research Institute, Huashan Hospital, Tongren Hospital and Zhongshan Hospital, will jointly build a 5G system of all-round first aids for the Expo.
In the ceremony, Shanghai Mobile and Shanghai Medical Emergency Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement, which will explore the comprehensive cooperation of the new generation 5G information and communication technology in medical emergency rescue. Shanghai Mobile will make full use of the leading advantages of 5G technology like large bandwidth, low delay and wide connection, to help Shanghai Medical Emergency Center further improve emergency rescue and better protect people's life and health.
Shanghai Municipal Health Commission expressed that on the basis of the successful experience of the first CIIE, 5G concept and technology would be introduced into the medical security this year. Under the support of Shanghai Mobile’s 5G network, a 5G mobile medical security platform will be built to achieve "full coverage" of 5G ambulances in the venue. Based on 5G ambulance and 5G information desk of designated hospitals, as well as artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR) and a comprehensive medical emergency 5G system will be built.
By using remote consultation system, panoramic technology, VR glasses and 5G network, the experts in the hospitals and the emergency doctors on the ambulance can interact in real time and cooperate closely to implement on-site rescue together, so as to truly realize the "seamless linkage" in the hospital, greatly improve the transmission speed, guarantee efficiency of medical emergency information and strive for more precious vitality for patients.
The 5G Mobile Medical Security Platform released in the ceremony will innovate and realize the new mode of telemedicine and will provide all-round 5G first aid ability for the Expo. At present, Shanghai Mobile has basically completed the continuous coverage of 5G network of the National Convention and Exhibition Center. During the Expo, Shanghai Mobile will use a higher quality 5G network to create a world-class "smart" exhibition.
