On the morning of August 19th, Wu Jincheng, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and Zhang Ying, Vice Chairman, made research on the construction of the demonstration application scenarios of 2019 World Artificial Intelligence Congress at Pudong New Area. Relevant leaders were present, including Guan Xiaojun, Deputy District Governor and Tang Shiqing, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC and Director of the Economic and Trade Commission.
Mr. Wu listened to the report on driverless vehicle, smart hotel, smart business, smart care, smart parking, smart travel and smart buildings. He also experienced AI application scenarios like driverless vehicle, AR guide and smart clothing. Mr. Wu affirmed the achievements of the application scenario construction at Pudong New Area and hoped to further strengthen the implementation and enhance the highlights.
During the Congress, the "AI (Driverless) Track " on the south side of Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Hall will simulate real road environment. Leading domestic and foreign enterprises will be invited to show the most advanced technology and solutions of unmanned driving. For professional audiences and media reporters, one-click call, auto-driving, and auto-parking will bring them entire driverless experience, creating a driverless track with intelligent traffic in China.
