On August 19th, CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization held a special meeting on finding gaps by referring to Party Constitution and regulations. The meeting was presided over by Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization. Wu Jincheng, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, made a speech at the meeting.
At the meeting, the members of the Party team put themselves in the Party Constitution, the Guidelines, the Regulations and the Eighteen "Whether or not". They understood their responsibilities in the work, checked the problems and gaps, analyzed and reviewed them one by one, and put forward preliminary rectification measures.
Mr. Lu put forward four demands on the recent arrangement and deployment of thematic education. First, it is important to persevere in reading the original text, learning the original works and understanding the principles. What's more, it is necessary to further deepen the understanding of Xi Jinping's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics and the Party Central Committee's policy in the new era, enhance the consciousness and firmness of implementation, and improve the ability to guide practice and promote work by using the Party's innovative theory. Second, it is advisable to continue to deepen the investigation and make efforts to put the inspection problems in place. Combine the gap with the comparison of Xi Jinping's socialist thought in the new era, the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and the inspection of the Party Central Committee's decision-making and deployment, and further find out the real problems. Third, it is a must to promote the solution of problems and work hard to put rectification. Take the initiative to change work style, serve enterprises and the masses intimately, solve contradictions, introduce a number of institutional arrangements, concentrate on development, and test the effectiveness of thematic education with the sense of gain of enterprises and the masses, and with the high-quality development of industry and information technology. Last but not least, it is wise to earnestly prepare for the convening of a special conference on democratic life. Recognize and prepare thematic democratic life meetings and hold the meetings as a political check for leading groups and Party members to keep their original minds, shoulder their missions, and find gaps.
