On August 12th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(MIIT) held the National On-site Work Conference of "5G+Industrial Internet" at the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd. The theme of the conference was to implement the decision-making and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, speed up the pace of 5G commercial use, strengthen the construction of new infrastructure of industrial Internet, keep in mind the original intention and mission, and vigorously promote the innovative development of 5G+industrial Internet integration. Miao Yu, Secretary and Minister of the Party Group of MIIT, was present and made a speech. The conference was presided over by Zhang Feng, Chief Engineer of MIIT. Zhou Ji, Wu Hequan, and Lin Zhongqin, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Wu Qing, Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal People's Government, and Chen Mingbo, Deputy Secretary-General of Shanghai Municipal People's Government, were also present.
The conference held that the manufacturing industry is the foundation of a nation and the main battlefield to support high-quality economic development. As an important cornerstone of the fourth industrial revolution and the key supporting force of the digital transformation, the industrial internet has opened up a new track of scientific and technological competition as well as industrial competition. The exploration and practice of "5G + Industrial Internet" conforms to the requirement of the deep integration of new-generation information technology and real economy.
The meeting stressed that it is important to seize the historical opportunity of the deep integration of the new-generation information technology and the real economy.
First, make good use of the opportunities of industrial internet innovation and development, promote the three systems of network, platform and security in an all-round way, deepen the integration and application of vertical industries, and accelerate the construction of multi-party synergistic industrial ecology.
Second, seize the opportunity of the socialist system, 5G development in China has gained the "first half" advantage. It is important to strengthen commercial advantage and new industrial ecology.
And third, seize the opportunities of huge and fast-growing market and do a good job in the integration of informatization and industrialization.
The conference also called for speeding up the promotion of "5G + Industrial Internet" and strongly support the high-quality development of manufacturing industry.
First, implement the512 Project of "5G+Industrial Internet", strengthen pilot demonstrations, popularize applications, cultivate solution providers, and accelerate the nationwide popularization of the "5G+Industrial Internet".
Second, improve the industrial ecology, synchronize efforts in demand, supply and industry, and stimulate the endogenous innovation power of "5G + industrial internet".
And third, strengthen policy guidance, increase special support for high-quality development of manufacturing industry, strengthen policy coordination and overall promotion among departments, and create a good environment for "5G + Industrial Internet" development.
Relevant departments and representatives were present, including main departments of industry and information technology in provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, Relevant departments of Shanghai Communication Administration, and enterprises like COMAC, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Broadcast Network and Huawei.
