On the morning of July 22nd, according to the overall arrangement of the thematic education of "remain true to the original aspiration and keep the mission firmly in mind" of the Commission, Rong Zhihqin, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, gave a Party lecture for Party members and cadres from relevant divisions and some directly affiliated units of the Commission system.
Mr. Rong focused on the theme of "adhere to the original intention, take the mission bravely, and comprehensively improve the quality and effectiveness of the service forthe enterprises in Shanghai". He expounded the great significance and practical requirements of the "original mission" from three aspects: spirit, ability and work.
Mr. Rong pointed out the rich connotation of the "original mission", which contains the major issues of how to develop the socialism with Chinese characteristics from the Central Committee of the Communist of China around Xi Jinping, and the significance of running the Party strictly. It is quite important for the Party members to deeply understand General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important expositions on the mission of the “original mission”, earnestly strengthen "four consciousness", firm "four self-confidence" and resolutely achieve "two safeguards".At present, the external environment is complex, and the risks and challengesare severe. It is necessary to examine our own problems, find out the gap, face up to the problems consciously, and use practical tactics to comprehensively deepen the enterprise services in Shanghai.
Mr. Rong highlighted that under the background of this thematic education, the Party members should carry out the three new major tasks entrusted to Shanghai by the Party Central Committee in a spirit of seizing every minute. It is important to base ourselves on a higher position, be creative, take on responsibilities, and comprehensively improve the quality and efficiency of service for enterprises in our city; it is also necessary to build a good ecosystem for enterprise development with more practical measures and better service, create a new legend for Shanghai's industrial development, and dedicate outstanding achievements to the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China.
