On July 11th, Rong Zhiqin, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, visited the headquarters of some central enterprises in Beijing, including China Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd., China National Offshore Oil Corporation, China Datang Corporation, China Railway Group Limited, and China Forestry Group Limited. The team focused on the development planning of central enterprises and follow-up strategic layout in Shanghai, and understood the needs of enterprises in Shanghai.
Mr. Rong pointed out that the three major tasks entrusted to Shanghai by the central government provide new momentum for the high-quality development of Shanghai's economy and new opportunities for central enterprises to accelerate their development in Shanghai. It is hoped that the central enterprises will seize the new opportunities, strengthen cooperation with Shanghai and jointly participate in the implementation of the three major tasks: First, it is important to serve the national strategy, deeply participate in the integration of the Yangtze River Delta, form joint forces, jointly accelerate the construction of world-class urban agglomerations and world-class industrial clusters; Second, it is advisable to participate in the pilot project of scientific innovation board and inject new power into scientific and technological innovation of enterprises with the help of the capital market. Third, it is wise to integrate into the construction of the new area of Shanghai free trade test zone, further enhance the "new height" of opening up, and become the bridgehead of the "going out" of the central enterprises. He also invited the leaders of central enterprises to attend the activities on deepening strategic cooperation between SASAC and Municipal Government of the State Council held in Shanghai this August.
Each enterprise introduced in detail their operation and development plans in Shanghai, and indicated that they would actively participate in the new three major tasks of Shanghai, plan and deploy as soon as possible.
