On July 5th, Zhang Jianming, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, went to China Electronics Technology Group Corporation with his team and reviewed the construction of new dedicated metropolitan Internet of Things (IoT)at Jiading District. The team visited the network operation center and the exhibition hall for the construction and application of the new generation information infrastructure of China Science and Technology. Relevant leaders were present, including Lu Fangzhou, District Governor of Jiading District,Shen Huadi, Deputy Governor, and Jiang Bo, Chairman of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation.
Mr. Zhang listened to the report on the construction of new dedicated metropolitan IoTat Jiading District. He fully affirmed the outcomes of the early construction work, and hoped to perfect the application already carried out as soon as possible and show the actual effect. He pointed out that it is important to follow the requirements of construction of key projects, and combine with the recent construction in the three major application fields of "use fine management in urban area, use intelligent traffic guidance and digital agricultural production", strengthen standardization and systematization construction of operational support system. What's more, it is necessary to further stimulate demand, strengthen the integration of incremental data and stock data, promote the integration of industry and application, and truly show comparable, popularizable and systematic results in light of the reality of urban operation and emergency management. The Commission will strengthen the coordination with Jiading District and China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, and accelerate the implementation of the strategic cooperation agreement between the municipal government and the corporation.
