On the afternoon of June 19th, Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, visited to Giantec Semiconductor Co., Ltd. for research. He reviewed the product showroom, listened to the presentation on the corporate profile and had a discussion with its leadership.
Mr. Lu affirmed the outcome that Giantec Semiconductor seized the opportunity to apply for IPO at the Sci-Tech Innovation Board (STAR Market) and to upgrade its development energy. First of all, it is important master the core technology, have independent and controllable intellectual property rights, continue to develop steadily in the segments of non-volatile memory chips and audio motor driver chips, promote the company to focus on its unique advantages, further enhance its core competency and maintain its leadership. Second, it is critical to give full play to the talent advantage, innovate and explore the motivation and management mechanisms, fully mobilize the creativity and enthusiasm of the management team and key technical personnel, and attract talents. And third, it is also essential to improve product quality, maintain high reliability of the products, increase innovation and R&D, reduce production costs, and improve market competitiveness. The Commission and the Committee shall do a good job in service and deepen the "specialized, refined, peculiar and new areas" in order to cultivate more leading enterprises and invisible champions in Shanghai.
