On June 18th, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the CPC Working Committeeof Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization organized a themed event for retired cadres to celebrate the anniversaries and “recall the initial mission”, at Jiangnan Shipyard. The event reviewed the development of Shanghai's industry, showedthe changes in “Made in Shanghai” andrestated the determination and confidence of the industrial workers to make new achievements.
Yang Jiaying, Deputy Director of the Organization Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Director of the Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres, and Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, attended the event and delivered speeches.Gao Wei, Secretary of CPC Committee and Chairman of CSSC Shanghai Shipbuilding Corporation, gave a welcome address. Ma Lijian, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, some main leaders and unit heads, retired cadres of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, and veteran cadre workers participated in the event.
