CES ASIA 2019 was held in Shanghai

      From June 11th to 13th, CES ASIA 2019 was held at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, Wu Jincheng, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and Fu Xinhua, Vice Chairman, were present. 

      Since its landing in Shanghai in 2015,CES ASIA has successfully held four sessions. It is the fastest-growing specialized science and technology event in Asia. The show presents the latest products, technologies and services to the Asian market and fully reflects the development of electronic technologies. The exhibition of this year presents products and technologies including 5G communications, artificial intelligence, augmented reality/virtual reality, smart home, ultra-high definition video, and automotive electronics, covering more than 20 categories and an area of 57,000 square meters. The exhibition attracts 550 exhibitors, including 115 startups, from 75 countries and regions, and more than 50,000 visitors. 

      In the field of automotive electronics, the latest conceptual vehicle and intelligent connected vehicle technology, including related technologies from automatic driving to all-electric vehicle, are demonstrated in the exhibition. As to Artificial intelligence, there are machine learning, object recognition, cancer screening, and unattended shop self-service payment. Augmented reality and virtual reality show many new applications of enhancing user experience and changing perception, which are being integrated into new areas like retail, manufacturing, health care, and road condition prediction.125 innovative startups from China, France, Norway, Switzerland, the United States and Japan present products, services and innovations that change traditional lifestyles, and conduct product promotion and road shows. The Matching Zone provides a platform for enterprises to expand cooperation with potential business partners, investors and peers in the industry.
