On the afternoon of May 28th, Wu Jijncheng, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, made research on the construction of new Metropolitan Internet of Things at Jiading District.
Mr. Wu listened to the report from China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) on the achievements of the construction of the new Metropolitan Internet of Things at Jiading District. He pointed out that first of all, it is important to further deepen the detailed construction plan, agglomerate industrial ecosystem and form practical experience that can be replicated and popularized. What's more, it is necessary to choose excellent mechanism and team, integrate top-level structure like smart city, 5G and smart networking to form national highland and embody novelty. Second, it is advisable to integrate and utilize existing resources, avoid duplication of investment and show compatibility.Third, it is a must to set high standards, follow the leading provinces and cities, and highlight the advanced nature. Fourth, it is wise to be demand-oriented, pay attention to practical value and focus on practicality. Last but not least, it is quite important to make strategic cooperation between the basic, data and application levels, give full play to the advantages of all parties and reflect openness.
