On the afternoon of May 8th, the Investment Recruitment Conference of Qingpu District in 2019 was held on the theme of "Promoting the functional quality of the city and constructing a model city of Yangtze River Delta integration". Ruan Li, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, attended the meeting and made a speech. Zhao Huiqin, Secretary of Qingpu District Committee, and Yu Xufeng, Governor of Qingpu District, were also present and made deployment of related work. At the conference, 23 major industrial projects were signed, with a total expected investment of RMB53.5 billion, covering biomedicine, robotics, intelligent hardware, automobiles, new materials, new-generation information technology, artificial intelligence and production service sectors.
Mr. Ruan thanked Qingpu District for its support for the development of industry and information technology in the city. He pointed out that as an important area for two national strategies of China International Import Expo and Yangtze River Delta Integrated Development Demonstration Zone, it is a must for Qingpu District to firmly seize the historic opportunities entrusted by the country and Shanghai. For the next step, it is necessary to optimize industrial positioning and space distribution, take the industrial map of Shanghai published last year as the guide, revolve around the function orientation, and use the scientific allocation of resources and supporting policies to turn the resources into core competencies of industrial development. What's more, it is important to do a good job in attracting investment, adapt to the new situation, give full play to the advantages of comprehensive services, comprehensive matching, scientific and technological innovation and integration of industry and finance, continuously gather and develop superior industries, and attract a number of high-quality industrial projects. Last but not least, it is advisable to do a good job in major project services, further strengthen enterprise services, focus on the difficulties faced by enterprises, promote fewer examination and approval links, and fasten processing speed, so that enterprises can handle affairs more conveniently.
At present, Qingpu District strengthens innovation, deepens supply-side structural reform, and actively constructs the innovative industry layout of "One Belt &Three Centers". It also focuses on the three elements of industry, science and technology, and resources, and build a scientific and technological innovation industrial highland in the Yangtze River Delta. High-quality projects have settled one after another including Beidou Xihongqiao Base, Shixi Software Park, Huawei and Netease. Industrial development has realized new agglomeration and formed new advantages.
