In order to promote the coordinated development of 5G network and application, Shanghai will also promote 5G application demonstration in more industries. The operation was located in the West Branch of Huashan Hospital 20 kilometers away. One was endoscopic surgery for pituitary adenoma acted by Professor Chen Liang and the other was microscopic surgery acted by Professor Wang Yongfei. The ultra-high definition surgical images transmitted through China Unicom 5G network were shown on the 4K screen in real time. Zhou Liangfu, Academician of Neurosurgery of Huashan Hospital, and Professor Mao Ying guided and explained the operations. Nearly 60 trainees from the training base for Neurosurgery specialists observed the operation process.
