      On the morning of March 26th, the leaders of the Commission system held a seminar on learning and implementing the Spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Speech in Shanghai. Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, was present and gave a mobilization speech.

      Mr. Lu pointed out that it is important for the Commission to follow the requirements of the Municipal Committee, study and implement well the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches in Shanghai, put the implementation into practice and further grasp the key contents. It is quite important to fully implement three new major tasks and five work requirements to promote high-quality development of the real economy. First, it is necessary to think more and work hard on steady growth. It is advisable to accelerate the conversion of kinetic energy and lay a solid foundation for the promotion of all work throughout the year. Second, more efforts should be made to promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry, moving to the high end of the industrial chain and value chain. Third, it is necessary to promote the efficient operation of smart cities. Each unit should combine its own work and industry characteristics, set the highest standards and the best level, and upgrade the energy level of the city. Fourth, it is important to improve the business environment, echo the expectations of enterprises, and stimulate the vitality of enterprises. Last but not least, it is a must to fully understand the decisive role of the new great project of Party building, continuously strengthen Party building, and provide a strong political guarantee for the development.

  The seminar last three days and was organized centrally in a combination of the matic learning and collective discussion. About 50 leading cadres from relevant units of the Commission system participated in the training.
