On the morning of March 13th, the 2019 Construction Commencement Ceremony of Major Industrial Projects at Baoshan District was held. Wu Jincheng, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, was present and made a speech. Wang Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Baoshan District, and Fan Shaojun, District Head of Baoshan, were also present and deployed related work. At the conference, 28 major industrial projects were signed, including Jingdong Digital Economy Industrial Park, Puyin Financial Science and Technology Center and Tianjin Biomedicine R&D, with an estimated total investment of RMB39.6 billion. 20 major industrial projects, including Fanuc (Phase III) and the expansion of KElAI Electrical and Mechanical Company, have been launched with a total planned investment of RMB21.1 billion, covering robotics, intelligent hardware, new materials, new-generation information technology, biomedicine and artificial intelligence. A pairing ceremony for the whole-process assistant services of major industrial projects was also held at Baoshan District.
Mr. Wu expressed his gratitude for the support of industrial and information development work at Baoshan. He pointed out that Baoshan is an important district of the city's advanced manufacturing industry. The next step is to focus on three aspects of work. First of all, it is important to concentrate on the main line of real economy development, cultivate new momentum of industrial development by the deep integration of emerging industries, such as artificial intelligence, industrial internet and big data. Second, it is necessary to do a good job in attracting investment from industries. Combining with the layout of the city's industrial map, it is wise to accelerate the gathering of superior industries and attract a number of high-quality industrial projects. And third, it is advisable to continuously optimize enterprise services, improve the service efficiency, and do a good job in serving enterprises.
