The Commission system held the 109th Anniversary of International Working Women's Day(March 8) and theme forum

      On March 11th, the Commission system held the 109th Anniversary of International Working Women's Day (March 8) and theme forum. Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, was present and made a speech. Ge Yingmin, Vice-President of Municipal Women's Federation, also made a speech. Ma Liejian, Deputy Secretary of  CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, read out the list of outstanding women and women groups in the system. 

 

      Mr. Lu extended festive greetings to all female comrades in the system. He also hoped that women in the system will follow Xi Jinping's socialist thoughts with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the spirit of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, study and carry out the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches in Shanghai and strive to become practitioners of the socialist thoughts with Chinese characteristics in the new era of Xi Jinping; What's more, it is important for women comrades to become the builder of information industry and the advocates of social civilization, grasp the opportunity of the times, ignite the passion of struggle, and gain more self-confidence in a new era.

      During her speech, Ms. Ge affirmed the important role of female comrades in industry and information construction. She also hoped that women could conscientiously study and implement the spirit of the 12th National Women's Congress of China, consolidate the ideological basis for common struggle, boldly assume the responsibilities, actively participate in the construction of industry and information technology, and jointly create a beautiful image for Shanghai's economic and social development. 

      On the roundtable forum, Sun Yunzhu, National Woman Pace-setter, Qiu Lina, National Pace-setter of Achievement, Wu Xiaohong, Zhou Lili and Zhang Ning, Shanghai Woman Pace-setters, shared their growth experiences in different fields and interacted with the audience.

      At the meeting, the Women's Work Committee of the Commission also issued an initiative to all female comrades of the system, "Seventy years of hard work will bring a new era". Relevant person and group were present, including the Commission Units in Shanghai, leaders of women's work committee of relevant units, and award-winning units.
