On March 12th, guided by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization and Lingang Administrative Committee, the Matchmaking Meeting of CIIE Industrial Product Exhibitors was held at Lingang Industrial Park. Shi Wenjun, Associate Counsel of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, was present and made a speech.
Mr. shi pointed out that the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) was successfully held in Shanghai in 2018. As an important platform for China's opening to the outside world in the new era, the Expo provides a rare opportunity to promote industrial exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries as well as the deep integration of advanced manufacturing and service trade. In recent years, new modes have emerged in the field of industrial e-commerce in Shanghai, and a number of third-party e-commerce platforms for industrial products have also emerged, such as ME cloud merchants. These platforms effectively reduce costs, improve operational efficiency and provide digital value-added services for real economic enterprises. They also become a "6 + 365 days" perennial exhibition and trading service integrator licensed by the Expo, which will provide a smooth service platform to promote the match of supply and demand, exchange and discussion, and business cooperation of manufacturing enterprises, as well as to promote in-depth cooperation between excellent foreign industrial brands and industrial parks.
Lingang Industrial Park is the first industrial Internet benchmark Park in Shanghai. The extreme manufacturing, complex manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing and service-oriented manufacturing of the zone represent the strength level and development direction of Shanghai's advanced manufacturing industry. These industries are also the concentrated embodiment of upgrading from "Made in Shanghai" to "Quality Manufacturing" and "Intelligent Manufacturing". The development of advanced manufacturing industry is inseparable from high-level productive service industry and specialized third-party platform. It is hoped that enterprises will seize the rare opportunities, deepen docking and exchanges, give full play to their respective advantages, integrate resources of all parties, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win situation. The Commission will continue to support the development of platforms and alliances.
More than 120 enterprises and industry organizations attended the meeting, including Division of Production Service Sector, industrial products agents from the expo, Lingang industrial zone, Shanghai E-Commerce Association, Shanghai Lingang Industrial Park Enterprises Association, and Shanghai Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association.
