On the afternoon of February 26th, CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization held its annual working conference in 2019. The conference summarized the work in 2018 and deployed the tasks in 2019. Ma Liejian, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, was present and made a speech.
On the conference, Ms. Ma fully affirmed the work of the Commissionsystem in 2018 and put forward requests for the work in 2019. She stressed that the first is to clarify the working background. 2019 is the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China and a key year for building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. It is also an important year to learn and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches in Shanghai. It is a must to learn well the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the Central Economic Work Conference, the keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the First China International Import Expoand the speech when talking with the members of the new leading group of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. It is also necessary to put the work in the overall situation of economic and social development.Second, it is advisable to clarify the tasks.It is necessary to focus on "unity", organize studies, and enhance staff's political, ideological and emotional identity; What's more, it is also important to focus on "cohesion", organize visits, strengthen the concern for workers and their families; Last but not least, it is a must to focus on "service", attach importance to the platform, and create conditions for workers to improve their technical skills. Third, itis necessary to clarify the working methods, and constantly seek new changes and breakthroughson the basis of inheritance.
The conference made it clear that in 2019 the systemshould be guided by Xi Jinping's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era. What's more, it is important to study and implement well of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on the work of the working class and labor unions, work closely around the spirit of the 17th National Congress and the spirit of the 14th Congress of the Municipal Labor Unions, and follow around the industrial and Information Center. Last but not least, it is necessary to firm the political orientation, serve the workers and people, strengthen self-construction, strive to open up a new situation of economy and information labor union work in the new era, and present a gift for the 70th birthday of the Republic.Four aspects of work should be emphasized: first, it is important to adhere to the correct political orientation, unite the broad masses of workers to follow the Party; Second, it is necessary to work around Industry and the Commission, and mobilize the Workers; Third, it is a must to strengthen the service of safeguarding rights and enhance the sense of happiness of workers; Fourth, it is advisable to adhere to reform and strengthen the self-construction of labor unions.
On the conference, relevant companies made speeches and communicated on their work, including CSSC(China State Shipbuilding Corporation) , AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine, and Sinopec Shanghai Engineering. The conference also commended the outstanding achievements of the Commission in 2018, as well as the model worker's home, model worker's small home, excellent labor union workers and excellent activists of the Commission in 2017-2018.
