Mr. Zhang listened to the report on the organization, 5G R&D layout and future development of the Institute. He expressed that Shanghai attaches great importance to 5G construction and application and is actively building a "dual Gigabit broadband city". It is important for the institute to grasp the opportunity of integration and development of new technologies such as 5G and AI, and export information products and R&D capabilities to industries such as industrial energy, transportation and finance. It is hoped that the institute will be a good innovator of industrial intelligence and technology in 5G era. The Commission will further strengthen urban linkage, government-enterprise linkage, and coordinate all parties concerned to jointly promote the resolution of key and difficult problems in the 5G construction and application.
