On January 30th, 5G live broadcasting technology for major conferences was firstly used in the "two sessions" in Shanghai, which became a highlight.This is the first time for China to achieve high-definition live broadcasting connection through 5G network. The service was jointly built by Shanghai Mobile and Shanghai SMG Financial Media Center.Through the 5G network of Shanghai Mobile, the high-definition pictures and video signals captured by reporters at the "two sessions" can be transmitted back to the TV station in real time.This technology gives full play to the advantages of 5G, namely high bandwidth and low latency, and realizes the non-delayed connection dialogue between journalists and live broadcasters, so as to provide high-quality video return and live coverage services for the media.As the key technology of the new round of global revolution in science &technology and industry, 5G will become the new engine of digital economy development and industry transformation.5G has the characteristics of large capacity, low latency and high speed, which will accelerate the evolution and upgrading of production and life towards digitalization, networking and intellectualization.
