The new edition of Shanghai Industrial Energy Efficiency Guide was released

      On the afternoon of January 24th, the new edition of Shanghai Industrial Energy Efficiency Guide was released in Shanghai Garden Lane Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Industrial Park. Wu Qing, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, was present and made a speech. Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, sent "Shanghai Industrial Energy Efficiency Guide (2018 edition)"to unit representatives and awarded prizes to demonstration units of green manufacturing system. Relevant leaders also attended this event, including ShouZiqi, Director of Municipal Bureau of Ecological Environment, Zhou Qiang, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Development & Reform Commission, Bai Xueru, Chief Engineer of Municipal Planning and Resources Bureau, Li Wei, Deputy Director of Municipal Bureau of Statistics. Yuan Quan, Vice District Chief of Hongkou, and Lv Ming, Vice District Chief of Baoshan. The event was presided over by Zhang Jianming, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization.

      The new edition of Shanghai Industrial Energy Efficiency Guide followed the requirements of "further strengthening industrial access and tightening industrial access standards, water consumption, energy consumption and environmental protection discharge standards for key industries". First, the optimal energy efficiency benchmark was issued, 117 domestic and international benchmarks of 60 key products in the city were selected, and 19 international benchmarks and 27 domestic benchmarks were raised. Second, the latest water efficiency indicators were released, including 29 product water efficiency standards and equipment water efficiency grade standards and 92 water efficiency indicators. Third, more comprehensive energy efficiency indicators have been issued, and more than 800 energy efficiency indicators have been expanded in the fields of industry, transportation, construction, public institutions and key energy-using equipment. At the same time, the new edition Guide improves the use instructions of each chapter, as well as the energy index, standard index and policy index. What's more, the electronic edition of the guide will be uploaded for users to accurately access and trace the origin.

      At the event, the licensing ceremony of 16 national green manufacturing system demonstration units was also held. In order to promote the green development of manufacturing industry and set up green benchmarks, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(MIIT) has organized the selection of green factories, green parks, green products and green supply chains since 2016.In the past three years, 12 green factories, 1 green park, 2 green supply chains and 10 green design products have been listed in MIIT, involving 16 enterprises. The Commission will vigorously promote the advanced practices and experience of green benchmarking in the industry, gradually form industry standards, and promote the green development level of the whole industry.
