Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, visited some central SOEs

      On January 3rd, Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, visited leaders of Aluminum Corporation of China Limited, China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC), Aero Engine Corporation of China and Sinopec Group. In accordance with the requirements of relevant documents from the Central Organization Department, the Commission will assist central SOEs in deepening the implementation of the responsibility system for Party building and structuring a clean and honest Party group. What's more, the Commission will also help to promote the strategic cooperation among central SOEs and the implementation of related industrial projects, promote the integration and development of the central and local governments, exchange ideas from central SOEs and further serve central SOEs in Shanghai. 

      During the seminar, Mr. Lu introduced the economic and social development in Shanghai, relevant situations of the two commissions and institutional reforms. He also communicated with the group leaders on cadre co-management, grass-roots party building, implementation of the responsibility system to structure a clean and honest Party and promoting central SOEs in Shanghai. Mr. Lu pointed out that it is important for the two commissions to study and implement the spirit of Xi Jinping's important speeches. In accordance with the requirements of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Eleventh Municipal Committee of the CPC, it is necessary to plan and implement the "three new major tasks" entrusted to Shanghai, continuously launch the "Made in Shanghai" brand, optimize the business environment, implement the "four responsibilities coordination" mechanism, and promote "run the party strictly" spirit to the grass-roots. In accordance with the requirements of Shanghai Municipal Committee and the municipal government, the two commissions will alwaysmaintain good contacts with the central enterprise groups and actively serve their development in Shanghai. It is hoped that central SOEs will pay close attention to Shanghai's industrial development, positively allocate major industrial projects, and help Shanghai maintain its first-mover advantage in the new round of development.
