On the afternoon of November 7th, as one of the supporting activities at the first China International Import Expo (CIIE),the Promotion Conference for Foreign Investment Industries was held today. Shanghai Map of Industries was also formally launched at the Conference. A total of 10 projects were signed, with a total investment of about RMB3.78 billion. Wu Qing, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, attended the conference and made a speech.The conference was presided over by Ma Chunlei, Deputy Secretary General of the Municipal Government. Chen Mingbo, Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, was also present and gave a report on creating a better environment for industrial investment and development. Rong Zhiqin and Wu Jincheng, Vice Chairmen of the Commission, witnessed the signing. Zhu Min, Deputy Director of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, explained 100 notes for opening expansionin Shanghai.The conference was co-hosted by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Shanghai Financial Services Office and Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Shanghai.
