On the afternoon of October 23rd, Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, checked the energy security work of China International Import Expo. The team reviewedthe front-line power supply and security command center, and talked about the supply of electricity, gas, and water during the Expo. They also visited all members of the temporary Party branch of the energy and utility group for the Expo.
Mr. Lu pointed out that it is a must to further enhance political standing. It is an important political responsibility and historical mission of the two Commissions to do a good job in energy security for the Expo. It is necessary to further improve the political position, enhance our sense of responsibility and mission, and ensure that there is no mistake in energy security work for the Expo.In addition, it is advisable to make every effort to find out hidden dangers and carry out special emergency drills so as to make energy security work more solid, meticulous and comprehensive.What's more, it is a must to give full play to the role of the Party branch group. The group should lead all Party members to successfully accomplish the tasks with a fighting attitude.Every Party member of the branch group should also cherish the opportunity of practical training, and further enhance their working ability by participating in the energy security work of the Expo.
