The two commissions signed a cooperative action plan with SUMG on branding of "Made in Shanghai"

      On the afternoon of October 22nd, the two commissions signed a cooperative action plan with Shanghai United Media Group (SUMG) on branding of "Made in Shanghai". Witnessed by Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, and Qiu Xin, Party Secretary and President of SUMG, relevant leaders cosigned the action plan, including Ma Liejian, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, Wu Jihong, Deputy Director General of Shanghai Municipal Office of Science, Technology and Industry of National Defense, and Chen Qiwei, Deputy Secretary and General Manager of SUMG. 

      Before the event, three parties discussed the branding and close cooperation mechanism of "Made in Shanghai". Mr. Lu expressed that SUMG will cooperate with the Commissions to create the "Made in Shanghai" brand, which is of great significance to promote the transformation and upgrading of Shanghai’s industry and enhance the core competency of Shanghai. Shanghai’s culture is a soft power, while Shanghai’s manufacturing is a hard power. We will cooperate with SUMG in depth, focus on key areas and emerging industries, launch and promotea number of enterprises and typical core competencies, and jointly do a good job in the construction of "Made in Shanghai". 

      Mr. Lu and his team also visited SUMG’s theme exhibition.

      Relevant divisions were present, including the Discipline Inspection Group of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, General Office of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, and the Publicity Department and General Office of the Commission.
