On September 10th, the 15th China International SME Fair was held in Guangzhou.
Mr. Li Xi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee andSecretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee;Mr. Ma Xingrui, Deputy Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Guangdong Province; Mr. Wang Jiangping, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology; and Mr. Ma Zhengqi, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Market Supervision visited the Shanghai Pavilion and affirmedthe theme of “High-Quality Development, High-Quality Life” and the achievements in the fields of new energy vehicles, biomedicine, new materials and smart life. They hope that Shanghai will continue to play a leading role in serving small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and promoting cooperation and exchanges. At the same time, it wasalso claimed that it is necessary to further strengthen the cooperation between Shanghai and Guangdong, increase the integration of the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao and the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and coordinate development in China's major development strategies to jointly contribute to the overall growth.
3,019 local and international exhibitors from 39 countries attended the Fair, with a total number of 6,628booths. During the event, China SME Summit Forum, the 2018 “Creator China” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the “One Belt, One Road” Special Initiative: 2018 in the Middle East and other forumswill be held. The “LTCC Beidou Chip Antenna” project recommended by Shanghai participated in the “Creator China” Final as one of Top 24 in China. It is reported that there were 5 projects in Shanghai that were among Top 200 in China.
RongZhiqin, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Economic Information Commission, led the Shanghai delegation to attend the opening ceremony and participate in relevant events of China International SME Fair. 31 SMEs in Shanghai, including Shanghai Weilai Auto, Shenlan Technology and Hengyue Medical, appeared at the Fair.
Relevant comrades from the Small and Medium Enterprise Office and Foreign Economic and Trade Office of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and Shanghai Small and Medium Enterprise Development Service Center attended the exhibition.
