On the morning of September 12th, two commissions held a mobilization meeting of service assurance for 2018 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, presided over the meeting.
Mr. Lu mobilized at the meeting for the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, and raised three requirements. First of all, all comrades participating in the service guarantee should maintain the work style and spirit in the preparatory work and ensure to fulfill all the tasks, because the conference is of high-end quality, tight schedule, and heavy tasks. Second, all the comrades in the commissions should improve their political position, unify their thinking, devote all their efforts to the conference. What's more, it is important for these comrades to perform duties well with high sense of responsibility and do a good job of service guarantee with a pragmatic style. Third, it is necessary to take this conference as an important opportunity for the city to build an AI industry highland, as an important carrier to carry out the "pioneer action" and as an important platform for training leaders. It is wise to seize the opportunity and actively magnify the driving effect.
At the meeting, Zhang Jianming and Wu Jincheng, Vice Chairmen of the Commission, and Zhang Ying, Chief Engineer, reported the contingency plan of power and communication, guest reception and preparation work for the conference. Relevant comrades from CPC Working Committee of the Commission, staff from service providers and volunteers were present.
