From August 9th to 10th, Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, visited Shenyang and Harbin with his team for research on manufacturing enterprises. The team visited Harbin Electric Corporation, Neusoft and Siasun.
At Harbin Electric Corporation, the team reviewed the State Key Laboratory of combustion center and efficient clean-coal-fueled power station boiler, the heavy capacity plant, and the blade workshop and reassembly workshop of Harbin Steam Turbine Company, which reflect the innovation and development of high-end equipment manufacturing and progress of major gas turbine projects.
At Neusoft, the team visited Neusoft Medical Industrial Park and Neusoft Software Park and listened to the business development and advanced layout in artificial intelligence and big health industries.
At Siasun, the team visited the automated production workshop and Future Experience Hall andexplored the design and production of industrial robots, clean (vacuum) robots, mobile robots, special robots and intelligent service robots.
During the forum, the enterprises expressed their desire to rely on the international environment and talent cluster in Shanghai to speed up the development of enterprises in the city.
Mr. Lu pointed out that Shanghai is promoting the brand of "Made in Shanghai" around the construction of "Five Centers" and Excellent Global City. It is important to further enhance the service awareness of government and optimize the business environment. It is hoped that enterprises will continue to strengthen cooperation with local peers and seize the opportunity to speed up the layout in Shanghai. What's more, it is necessary to make good use of the location and talent advantages of Shanghai, expand the development space for enterprise, promote the core competitiveness, and promote the transformation and upgrading of Shanghai industry. The Commission will do best to support the development of enterprises in Shanghai.
During the research, the team also visited the front-line staff of Shanghai Aero Engine Co., Ltd. in Shenyang and encouraged the company to strive for innovation, provide better service, and integrate into local economy.
