On the morning of August 2nd, Lu Xiaochun, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Working Committee of Economy and Informatization, visited Huaneng Shidongkou power plant for research. The team visited the control room and workshop to understand the operation of the power plant during summer, and greeted the front-line workers. What's more, the team also communicated with leaders and work teams of the power plant, understanding the next development and problems faced by the enterprise.
Mr. Lu pointed out that the next development strategy and positioning is the top priority of the enterprise. It is important to adhere to green development and accelerate the transformation and upgrade of the enterprise, which are the most important tasks in the next step. In addition, it is wise to adhere to innovation, have forward-looking strategies and ideas, speed up technological innovation, management innovation, mechanism innovation, and promote the core competency of enterprises. What's more, it is a must to follow the guidance of the Party construction, work with the spirit of the party building work meeting for the state-owned enterprises strictly implement the two major principals, work around the center, strengthen the grass-roots level of the Party and promote the development of enterprises. Mr. Lu asked relevant divisions of the Commission to do a good job in serving enterprises, and help these enterprises to solve the problems encountered in their development.
