1.Tesla Shanghai Supercharging Pile Factory officially launched（2.5）
Tesla Shanghai Supercharging Pile Factory was officially completed and put into operation on February 3rd, and V3 Supercharging Pile started to go offline. It took less than half a year from the project approval in August 2020 to production, which once again reflected “Shanghai speed” and “Tesla speed”.
Tesla Shanghai Supercharging Pile Factory has invested about RMB42 million and covers an area of nearly 5,000 square meters, integrating the functions of R&D and production. It is initially planned to produce 10,000 supercharging piles annually, mainly V3 Supercharging Piles, which are Tesla’s most advanced charging piles at present, with 15-minute charging capable of up to 250 kilometers.
Up to now, Tesla has launched more than 730 supercharging stations in China, and its charging network covers more than 300 cities.
2. The container throughput of Yangshan Port reached record high（2.10）
In January 2021, the container throughput of Yangshan Port broke the historical record with 1.965 million TEUs, up 17.8% year-on-year. According to the statistics of Yangshan Port Maritime Safety Administration, 704 container ships entered and exited the international routes of Yangshan Port in January, up 11.9% year-on-year and 12.3% month-on-month. Among them, 234 container ships entered and exited the international routes safely at Yangshan Phase IV Automated Terminal, up 53.9% year-on-year.
It is reported that in 2021, Yangshan Port Maritime Safety Administration will cooperate with all parties to speed up the research on pilotage and navigation assistance of large container ships under heavy wind and waves in Yangshan Port, solve the bottleneck problem that Yangshan waters are greatly affected by wind, further improve the navigation energy level and terminal productivity, and facilitate Yangshan Port in the high-quality development and construction of Linggang New Area.
3. The first semiconductor perfluoro seal production line in China reached full capacity（2.20）
On the first working day of the Year of the Ox, Shanghai’s three leading industries, namely integrated circuits, biomedicine and artificial intelligence, have shown their hardcore strength with full power. The first semiconductor perfluoro seal production line in China is running at full speed at Lingang New Area.
The products of Shanghai Xinmi Technology Co., Ltd., located at Lingang New Area, are one of the five main consumables needed for the production of integrated circuits. There is also the first pure “made in China” production line. The ultra-clean, high temperature resistant and strong corrosion resistant perfluorine sealing rings have been delivered to customers since last August and gradually integrated into the value chain of the integrated circuit industry.
Led by senior researchers with PhD in materials science, the R&D team at Shanghai Xinmi features years of R&D experience in perfluororubber in multinationals. Currently, they are studying the 4th-generation perfluororubber sealing products. At the same time, it also conducts targeted research cooperation with well-known universities in China to further expand the performance analysis and testing capabilities of materials and products.
4. Accelerate the implementation of new town planning and construction: Li Qiang presided over the meeting of the Standing Committee of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee（2.24）
The Standing Committee of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee held a meeting yesterday afternoon to study the planning and construction of the “Five New Towns” and comprehensively promote the revitalization of villages, conveying the decision of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection to expel Gong Daoan from the Party. The meeting reviewed and approved the Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Planning and Construction of New Towns in Shanghai during the 14th Five-Year Plan and special working documents in six key areas. It points out that it is necessary to adhere to high standards, implement new ideas, focus on improving the comprehensive functions of independent node towns, and build the new towns into a future city leading high-quality life, an important growth pole of the city’s economic development, an innovative practice area promoting people’s city construction, a demonstration area for urban digital transformation and a strategic pillar for Shanghai to cover the Yangtze River Delta. It is essential to focus on key points, strengthen industrial support, adhere to transportation as priority, enhance the allocation of public service resources and improve the level of refined governance. It is also critical to form a joint force, improve the systems, accelerate the implementation of new town planning and construction in the spirit of reform and innovation and better demonstrate the centralization and visibility.
The meeting reviewed and approved the Implementation Opinions on Comprehensively Promoting Rural Revitalization and Accelerating Agricultural and Rural Modernization. It points out that it is necessary to fully implement the spirit of Document No.1 of the Central Committee, closely combine it with the reality of Shanghai megacities, plan the great chapter on rural revitalization and integrated urban-rural development with high quality, speed up the modernization of agriculture and rural areas, effectively improve the rural environment, realize the improvement of agricultural quality and efficiency and raise farmers’ income. It is vital to enhance the awareness of catching up with others and build new advantages of Shanghai’s rural development strategy in the new era. It is also important to strengthen the construction of rural grass-roots party organizations and give full play to the role of rural leaders.
