On the afternoon of January 11th, the reporter visited the AI Experience Center of Shangtang Technology (hereinafter referred to as "Shangtang") in Caohejing, Shanghai, during “Follow the footsteps of General Secretary and enter innovative enterprises”, the media exploration group organized by Shanghai Economic and Information Commission, and learnt many new skills and applications.
In the AI Experience Center, visitors can experience the big language model launched by Shangtang and the large model of text to graphics, "SenseMirage", and feel the changes brought by generative AI to people's lives.
"SenseMirage" is an AI painting platform that includes Shangtang's self-developed painting model and convenient LoRA training ability, which provides third-party community open source model to accelerate reasoning, and offers creators with more convenient and perfect content production and creation tools. As its name implies, " SenseMirage" can quickly generate paintings in a few seconds.
During the exploration, the reporter learned that in the field of smart cars, the industrial applications such as smart car cabin, intelligent driving and vehicle-road coordination in Shangtang have also achieved continuous breakthroughs under the blessing of large models.
For example, the Jueying Intelligent Cabin System has introduced many functional options such as driver sensing, occupant sensing, gesture sensing, health assistant, beauty camera and painting from a distance. While waiting for the red light, the system can automatically measure the driver's heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, respiratory rate and other indicators, which can form the driver's health record over time, and can give early warning in time after abnormal data are measured.
In addition, Shangtang has recently released DriveMLM, a large model of automatic driving. Users only need to give it images, lidar information, traffic rules and even passenger demand, and it can give a driving plan.
In the AI Experience Center, a model of an artificial intelligence computing center, Shangtang Lingang AIDC, is also displayed, which is one of the largest artificial intelligence computing centers in Asia. This project is located in Shanghai Lingang New Area, with an investment of 5.6 billion yuan in the first phase. It mainly builds the intelligent computing building and research administration building in the park, which is used for multi-directional research and development of AI intelligent computing center platform hardware construction, platform software, platform management system and large model application. According to reports, the project covers an area of 87 mu, with an overall planned construction area of 130,000 square meters. Up to now, the first phase has been completed with an area of 70,000 square meters.
"At present, the computing power of Shangtang AI Computing Center is as high as 6800 Petaflops, and there are over 30,000 GPUs, far exceeding the total computing power of 3740P planned by the project." The staff of the Experience Center told reporters that while supporting the research and development of Shang Tang's own large model, the computing center also supports external customers to train large models and apply deployment, and its powerful computing power can support more than 20 billion-level super-large models to train at the same time.
