With the theme of “Data World, Connected Future”, Global Data Ecosystem Conference 2023 was held in Zhangjiang Science Hall on November 25th. Gong Zheng, Mayor of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, announced the opening of the Conference. Liu Liehong, Director of National Data Bureau, and Chen Jie, Vice Mayor of Shanghai delivered speeches. Jiang Xiaojuan, President of China Industrial Economics Association, Wu Jiangxing, Yang Shanlin and Chai Hongfeng, Academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the event.
At the event, the Data Trading Chain was officially launched, and representatives from data trading exchanges in Zhejiang, Shandong, Hunan, Guangxi, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Zhengzhou, Suzhou, Qingdao and Shanghai logged onto the Chain. The "Trust Connect" Program of data factor market was kicked off, which is designed to carry out system co-creation, standard co-system, digital chain co-promotion, service sharing and ecological interconnection.
A number of international data products were listed centrally, and 10 leading digital companies including Dun & Bradstreet, Euromonitor Consulting and Bloomberg listed their international data products at the conference, covering the United States, UK, Russia, Holland, Korea, Hong Kong and other markets. Shanghai Data Exchange also cooperates with overseas organizations such as International Data Space Association and International Data Management Association. Shanghai will deepen the construction of international board for data transaction, enhance the international link function, and better serve international capital flow, technology flow and trade logistics with data flow.
At the event, the Data Factor Market Development Index was released, including "Data Factor Market City 30 Index" and "Data Factor Market Prosperity Index", aiming to play the role of "barometer" and provide decision-making reference for all parties. At the same time, a number of achievements, such as Panorama of Global Data Cross-border Flow Rules, Case Set of Typical Application Scenarios of Data Element Circulation, Research and Analysis Report of China Data Exchange Market in 2023, National Digital Business Industry Development Report in 2023, Practice and Operation Guide of Data Assets Entry and Valuation (2024), White Paper on Data Element Value Calculation and Income Distribution of Commercial Banks (2023), were released.
This year’s conference will be held in the form of "1+1+1+20", including an opening ceremony, a main forum, a data exchange festival and 20 theme forums. More than 20 academicians and world-renowned experts, over 20 international organizations and national think tanks will be invited. More than 300 keynote speeches, panel discussions and corporate roadshows, 1,000 international and domestic data business enterprises and 10,000 professional visitors will attend the event at the site.
