On the afternoon of June 21st, the Office of China International Industry Fair (CIIF) Organizing Committee and EU SME Center held the signing ceremony of the 23rd CIIF EU National SME Pavilion in Shanghai. Rong Zhiqin, Deputy Director of the Office of CIIF Organizing Committee and Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Liu Guangyong, Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Office of Shanghai Municipal Government, Zhou Jin, Vice President of Donghao Lansheng Group, and Renzo Isler, Director of EU SME Center attended the signing ceremony and witnessed the signing of the agreement.
Rong Zhiqin pointed out in his speech that after 22 years of development and innovation, CIIF has become a world-leading brand of international industry exhibition. It is hoped that the EU National SME Pavilion set up this year will fully display the latest technologies and products of innovative SMEs in European countries through the platform of CIIF and further promote cooperation and exchanges between Chinese and European enterprises. Shanghai is speeding up the construction of five new town, building a new industrial system and comprehensively driving the digital transformation of the city, which will bring greater opportunities for all-round cooperation between China and Europe in various fields. European enterprises are welcome to invest in Shanghai and develop and grow in win-win cooperation.
The 23rd China international Industry Fair will be held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) from September 14th to 18th, 2021, with nine specialized exhibition zone with the total area of 280,000 square meters. Having attracted more than 2,000 exhibitors, it is expected to continue to be the largest industry exhibition in the world this year.
